Lone Star top

Tilde made this Lone Star top using the 6″ LeMoyne Star collection.

She writes :
I apologize for not posting a picture that is taken front up, but our house is old, and the rooms small. It is all machine pieced ! and it took 2 weeks, from the picking of fabrics to the finished top.

Size of star, from tip to tip, is 84″.

  1. That's amazing, Tilde. I can't wait to see how you quilt the empty spaces. It will be beautiful.

  2. Your quilt is stunning, especially the 9th row- "twinkles" because of fabric choice! Looking forward to seeing the borders and what you do in the setting pieces 🙂 Sandy in MD

  3. Oh my gosh…absolutely stunning! A real beauty! Just love traditional quilts!
