Cathi made this Tumbling Blocks mug rug using the 1″ 60-degree diamond collection and half hexagons from the 1″ 60-degree hexagon collection.
I had loads of diamonds from various swaps on the Inklingo list and, as I have always been intrigued by the Tumbling Blocks design, decided to make a mug rug. I wanted the light diamonds to be the same, so I printed some white diamonds to use and then just paired up the mediums and darks. Hand pieced and machine quilted.

beautiful – I didn't see the "mug rug" at the top for a moment and then had to go back and look again – what tiny pieces!!
