Hexagon Mug Rug

hexagon-mug-rug

Sue made this fabulous hexagon mug rug using the 2.25″ Inklingo Hexagon Collection and the 1.5″ Inklingo Hexagon Collection.

She writes:

“I saw this idea on Pinterest and figured … hmm, this can be made using Inklingo. I chose the hexies┬áthat worked. I printed the 2.25″ hexagon, without seam lines, and the 1.5″ hexagons. The edges are all accomplished by folding, pinning and sewing by machine.”

Snack Quilt

Sue made this fabulous Snack Quilt using the 1.5″ 60-degree hexagons which are in Collection 3 on CD and also available as a downloadable collection using the Snack Quilt pattern, which is available at Inklingo here.

This close-up shows the quilting Sue did on her Snack Quilt. Sue’s Snack Quilt has a wool batting and was finished in 2010.

Pieced Hexagons

Frummie is making 6″ Pieced Hexagons using the 1.5″ and 3″ 60-degree hexagon and diamond collections. All but one of those pictured were made using those collections. The bumblebee hexagon was made using an enlarged version of a free pattern available from the Badskirt blog. Frummie enlarged the bee by 150% to have a finished pieced hexagon of 6″.
