Pickled Clamshells

Jeannette from South Australia is (once again !) quietly finishing one beautiful quilt after another. This one with Pickled Clams and Flying Geese.
Jeannette writes :
The Clams are all hand pieced and the Flying Geese are machine pieced. The Geese measure 1.5 x 3″. I used 1.5″ HST from Collection 2 [ed. sold out, but the 1.5″ HST is in the 00B HST collection too] and 4.25″ unprinted squares for the Geese, and 9″ Pickle Clamshells.
I am very happy with the way it all went together. It was easy peasy.

Size of quilt 49.5 x 63″

Medallion Crib Quilt

Linda made this pretty crib-quilt. Here’s what she writes :

I used Shape Collection 2 for the pinwheels. The free LeMoyne Star for the corners and other methods for the rest, though I think all the other piecing could have been done with Shape Collection 2, I just hadn’t purchased it yet.

Size is 41″ square.

Flying Geese and roses wall-hanging

Sue writes :
This wall hanging was a class that I took from Sally Collins. All of the flying geese were made from Collection # 2. Inklingo made it so easy to make all of those small flying geese. Love Inklingo!

The mitered corners are hand appliquéd in place – I’ve never had instructions to do it like this but it worked very nicely.

Size of quilt is 35″ square.

Christmas Table Runner

This small table runner is by Cathi and was made using Collection 2. It was a Christmas gift made in 2007.

It’s a small table runner, about 12″ by 36″. I saw a picture of a Christmas Star quilt and was determined to make a few of those blocks, which then turned into this table runner.

Shapes used: 2″ HST’s, 2″ QST’s.
Techniques used: machine and hand piecing (hybrid) and technique taught in Collection 2 for flying geese — in this piece, used 2″ HST’s to make flying geese that finish at 2″ by 4″.
